Year of joining the II pillar

Due to the reform of the II pillar of the pension, you can suspend the contributions to the funded pension from 1 January 2021. In this case, you will still have the II pension pillar with the money accumulated in it, but no new contributions will be added. Remember that contributions can only be restored after 10 years. Due to the reform of the II pillar of the pension, you can leave the 2nd pillar from 1 January 2021 and withdraw the collected money before the retirement age. In this case, you no longer have a second pension pillar. Remember that if you leave and withdraw money, it will only be possible to rejoin II pillar after 10 years. From 1 July 2020 to 31 August 2021, the state suspended contributions to II pillar (4%) for all those born since 1961. In October 2020, there will be an opportunity to additionally suspend 2% of a person’s own salary. This is a simplified theoretical model. The results are presented in present-day values. The I pillar pension amount has been calculated using the currently applicable value of a year of pensionable service and base part and does not include the pension index changes. The prognosis is also left aside when calculating the II pillar pension amount, and the II pillar past productivity does not also include the personal productivity of each person. This model has not been designed to calculate the precise pension amount for everybody.
